The Governors and staff of our large church school are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Children & Family Support Worker. The role will be for 3 full days 8:15am-4pm. Days can be agreed for the successful candidate.

The Governors and staff of our large church school are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Children & Family Support Worker. The role will be for 3 full days 8:15am-4pm. Days can be agreed for the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will:
* Have experience of supporting families and children within the primary age range
* Have a nurturing and understanding approach
* Have experience of the Early Help Assessment (EHA)
* Have experience/interest in working with children with specific needs e.g. mental health, anxiety, low self-esteem, etc.
* Have experience in supporting families through early help
* Have appropriate knowledge of signposting parents and families to external agencies
* Be flexible, forward thinking, innovative and highly energetic
* Have an enthusiasm/experience in mental health and support our mental health leaders in school as part of our whole school wellbeing offer
* Have an understanding of how children learn, including social/emotional development
* Have a passion for enabling the best outcomes for our children
* Be able to work well as part of our whole school team and school community
* Support our Christian ethos as a church school
