R2R Supervisor

Hybrid in Manchester with 1-2 days from home
The R2R Supervisor is responsible for managing the full scope of Record to Report operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and driving process enhancements. This position leads a team of accountants and analysts, orchestrates the month-end close, and contributes to audit readiness and financial reviews. The role plays a key part in aligning R2R processes with international standards and broader organizational goals.
* Lead daily R2R activities including journal processing, balance sheet reconciliations, and closing procedures
* Collaborate with various departments to translate operational needs into effective R2R solutions
* Evaluate and refine financial workflows for better efficiency and precision
* Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives across reporting cycles
* Liaise with finance teams (AP, AR, FP&A) to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data
* Oversee validation efforts to meet regulatory and internal compliance requirements
* Deliver training and support to team members and system users, promoting process excellence
* Resolve discrepancies in R2R processes and maintain thorough process documentation
* Strengthen internal controls and reinforce adherence to corporate policies
* Keep abreast of industry trends and apply best practices to refine R2R functions
* Contribute to project plans and resource management to support strategic goals
* Facilitate internal and external audits by preparing documentation and addressing inquiries
Education & Qualifications
* University degree in Business Management or Finance (in progress)
* CPA or CIMA qualification preferred (in progress)
Experience & Expertise
* Over 8 years of finance experience with strong exposure to global business services
* In-depth understanding of R2R within SAP systems
* Solid knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and SAP implementation processes
* Effective problem-solving and analytical capabilities
* Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills
* Proven ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders
* Self-motivated with a service-focused mindset
