OnePlace Solutions are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our client based in Dordon.
The client are a long standing automotive parts supplier who are looking for experienced drivers to join their team.
We have roles available for PART TIME Fridays / Sundays only!
The driver must have a minimum of 6 months experience in a class 1 role.
This role is 3-5 drops per shift, and includes opening up small sites and controlling the alarms before dropping the goods in. So it is not just a driving role.
* Load and unload goods efficiently, ensuring securement according to safety standards.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any faults or issues promptly.
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in compliance with legal requirements.
* Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times while adhering to legal driving hours.
* Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues encountered on the road.
* Ensure compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies at all times.
* Assist with general vehicle maintenance tasks as required to ensure optimal operation.
