We are currently recruiting for a Stock Controller to join a busy 3PL (third-party logistics) warehouse operation. This is a key role responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring stock levels are controlled efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels within the warehouse
* Carry out regular cycle counts and full stock audits
* Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
* Update stock records using warehouse management systems (WMS)
* Liaise with warehouse, transport, and admin teams to ensure smooth operations
* Ensure goods are stored correctly and in line with company procedures
* Support inbound and outbound processes when required
* Produce stock reports and highlight any issues to management
Requirements
* Previous experience in a stock control or inventory role (preferably within a warehouse or 3PL environment)
* Good IT skills, including experience with stock systems/WMS
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good organisational and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills
