Working pattern: Various hours — Monday to Thursday 7.5 hours per day, Friday 7 hours per day

A Barista is required to work as part of our in-house catering team at our Abingdon campus. You will assist with day-to-day operations, mainly serving customers to a high standard, setting up counters and cleaning down after service, food preparation, till work and cashing up, filling displays, cleaning tables and any other catering work as required. Reporting to the Catering Manager and Supervisor, you will need to maintain high levels of hygiene. We work as a team and help each other to improve the service for the students and staff of the College.
Responsibilities
* Serve customers to a high standard and support day-to-day catering operations.
* Set up counters, fill displays, and clean down after service.
* Assist with food preparation and till work, including cashing up.
* Maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness in line with policies.
* Work as part of a team and adapt to a changing and challenging environment.
Qualifications / Skills
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Willing to undergo training.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and instruction.
* Self-motivated when working alone.
