CNC Programmer/Setter

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum

A leading engineering organisation within the advanced manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter to join their growing team. Role Responsibilities
Program, set, and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling machines and CNC Turning Centres.
Produce high-precision components to tight tolerances across multiple high‑performance industries.
Manage tool life and implement sister tooling strategies.
Set up and run one-off development parts as well as small‑to‑medium production batches.
Support the identification of manufacturing needs, equipment requirements, and new facility integration.
Contribute to key projects and ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Operate and manage multiple machines during shifts.Skills & Experience Required
Strong manufacturing knowledge of Hard Metal machining/finishing.
Experience in fast‑paced, evolving manufacturing environments.
Ability to confidently read engineering drawings, including GD&T.
Skilled in tool setting and tool probing.
Experience with Edgecam or Vericut is beneficial.
Experience with Heidenhain or Fanuc controls is advantageous.
Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
Proven background in programming, setting, and operating 4‑ and 5‑axis CNC machinery.
Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.Benefits
