The Role
We're looking for a site‐based Maintenance Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and working with precision machinery. You'll be responsible for keeping high‐value CNC equipment running at peak performance by carrying out:
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks.
* Installing, servicing, and repairing 5‐axis machine tools.
* Fault‐finding and diagnosing issues on CNC milling machines, delivering effective corrective solutions.
* Interrogating PLC programs using Siemens S7.
* Working autonomously while communicating effectively with the wider team.
This is a role where you'll own your work, take pride in solving problems, and be trusted to apply your engineering judgement.
About You
We'd love to speak with you if you are:
* A time‐served engineer or hold relevant engineering qualifications.
* Confident and experienced in troubleshooting 5‐axis CNC milling machines independently.
* Skilled in both verbal and written communication.
* Familiar with Siemens 840D CNC control systems.
