BSC specializes in the global design and manufacture of custom RF and Microwave solutions, utilizing core and advanced filter technologies, and integrating them into higher-level sub-assemblies for the latest RF and microwave products to connect and protect people in defense, aerospace, communications, and space sectors.
OPPORTUNITY
We are recruiting an ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER to join our highly knowledgeable engineering team. This role will involve contributing to projects that protect and connect people worldwide and into space for our defense, aerospace, and telecommunication clients.
You will work collaboratively with another Engineering Project Manager, jointly leading the engineering team, setting and maintaining engineering and quality systems, standards, and processes. You'll lead and work with assigned engineers to successfully deliver all aspects of engineering projects throughout their lifecycle, including planning, managing work packages, and owning program plans.
You will serve as a key contact and communicator with internal and external customers and stakeholders, chair technical reviews, and provide related data and reporting. Additionally, you will be a member of and contribute to the Site Leadership team, representing engineering and the broader BSC team.
To succeed, candidates should have or be working towards:
* An HND in an engineering discipline and a relevant project management qualification.
* Experience in multi-discipline engineering roles, managing multiple concurrent projects throughout their lifecycle.
* Experience in managing reports to achieve performance goals, working to quality and customer standards, developing customer relationships, managing expectations, and resolving issues.
You should be logical, result-focused, detail-oriented, curious, and committed to continual improvement of products and yourself. Candidates must also be UK or NATO citizens with the right to work in the UK.
