The role
If you are a highly organised and an experienced administrator looking for your next career move, then St Edward's Oxford has an exciting opportunity for you. We are looking for a temporary Personal Assistant to play a pivotal role in the smooth running of the school, providing crucial secretarial and administrative support to the Deputy Heads (Pastoral and Welfare). You will support the day-to-day running of the Pastoral Office, by handling enquiries, drafting correspondence, minuting meetings and managing diaries on behalf of the Deputy Heads. Additionally, you will assist with the administration and renewal of Child Student Visas. This will involve preparing CAS statements in support of applications, conducting the UKVI required Right to Study on pupils studying on school sponsored visas, while also maintaining up to date records of passports and necessary documentation for all international pupils.
Responsibilities
* Provide crucial secretarial and administrative support to the Deputy Heads (Pastoral and Welfare).
* Support the day-to-day running of the Pastoral Office, including handling enquiries, drafting correspondence, minuting meetings and managing diaries.
* Assist with administration and renewal of Child Student Visas, including preparing CAS statements and ensuring Right to Study compliance for pupils on school sponsored visas.
* Maintain up-to-date records of passports and necessary documentation for all international pupils.
* Maintain professionalism, discretion and confidentiality in all duties.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience in a senior secretarial or Personal Assistant role.
* Strong professionalism, discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
* Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
* Strong IT skills with familiarity in MS Office.
