Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Foods section, where you'll become a champion of our high-quality products, great value offers, and excellent customer service. Location: The Mall Cribbs Causeway, Patchway Bristol, United Kingdom, BS34 5QT
Working Pattern: Week 1 – Thursday 22:00-06:00; Friday 22:00-06:00; Saturday 22:00-06:00. Week 2 – Sunday 22:00-06:00; Thursday 22:00-06:00; Friday 22:00-06:00.
Pay and eligibility: The +£3.00 p/h unsocial premium is only added on hours worked between 22:00-06:00. To comply with health and safety legislation, colleagues in this role must be 18 years of age or older.
Interview process: Interviews for this position will be held in the form of an assessment centre at the Cribbs Causeway Store rather than Bristol Cabot Circus.
Responsibilities
* Serve our customers efficiently, both on the shop floor and at service points.
* Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring shelves are always stocked with product.
* Monitor and deliver on daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities.
* Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations and deliver remarkable service throughout their visit to store.
* Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services.
* Utilise all digital tools and communication channels to deliver for the customer every time.
