The Role:
They are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support for pupils with autism and associated needs. Your role will involve:
Supporting pupils in lessons, helping them access the curriculum and develop essential life skills.
Encouraging social interaction, communication, and independence.
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support their emotional and social development.
Assisting with personalised learning strategies and behaviour support plans.
Promoting an inclusive, positive, and safe learning environment.
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience of working with children or young people with autism and additional needs (desirable but not essential – training can be provided).
Is patient, resilient, and adaptable, with excellent communication skills.
Brings enthusiasm and a genuine passion for supporting young people to thrive.
Is a strong team player who can also use initiative.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
