As a Wellbeing in Nature Facilitator, you will support individuals and groups to build confidence, develop life skills and improve wellbeing - all through meaningful, nature-based activities. This is a hands on, active role working outdoors year-round, supporting participants with a wide range of needs in a rewarding and impactful environment. You will be part of the Operations Team, delivering tailored, inclusive activities that support participants’ mental health, confidence and independence. Working with people of all ages and abilities Responsibilities: create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for participants plan and deliver engaging nature based activities, adapting to individual needs support practical activities including outdoor sessions, walk and talks, workshops and cooking meals promote positive mental health, wellbeing and social connection maintain safeguarding standards and respond appropriately to concerns complete administration including onboarding, risk assessments and accurate record keeping work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure safe, effective session delivery. This role is physically active and emotionally engaging, involving outdoor work in all seasons and supporting participants who may face complex personal challenges. What you will need: a positive, patient and approachable manner strong communication and interpersonal skills experience supporting individuals with mental health challenges, neurodiversity or learning disabilities confidence planning and delivering engaging activities good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems a strong commitment to safeguarding and professional boundaries.
