Senior CAMHS Non-Medical Prescriber

Join our CAMHS Long Term Follow‑Up team in Southampton. The role is for a qualified Nurse Prescriber (V300) with experience working with children and families, and a current Nursing and Midwifery Council registration.
As part of the wider CAMHS team you will work alongside other Nurse Prescribers and multidisciplinary professionals, completing specialist assessments and delivering interventions to children, young people and their parents/carers. You will perform pharmacological interventions as a Non‑Medical Prescriber and manage an independent prescribing caseload.
Responsibilities
* Maintain an independent prescribing caseload and support duty prescribing functions.
* Assess and manage risks within the prescribing caseload in partnership with the multidisciplinary team.
* Complete specialist assessments and deliver interventions, including pharmacological treatment.
Qualifications
* Professional qualification relevant to CAMHS (e.g., Registered Nurse).
* Degree or equivalent training relevant to Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
* Significant senior practitioner experience within a CAMHS setting.
* Non‑Medical Prescriber V300 qualification.
