Logistics Support Analysis Engineer – Boeing Defence UK
Location: Gosport, United Kingdom
Boeing Defence UK is seeking a Logistic Support Analysis Engineer to support the Chinook Programme. The role reports to the LSA Lead Engineer and supports the Product Support Engineering team.
Responsibilities
* Review the LSA following changes to Programme Baselines.
* Initial population and updating of LSA tables throughout the product lifecycle.
* Review maintenance task analysis documentation and vendor data to conduct Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) specific to the program.
* Generate Modification Spare Provisioning Lists (MSPL) and Initial Provisioning (IP) ranging and scaling lists for modification packages.
* Review technical documentation to help resolve alternative solutions for long lead‑time spare orders.
* Work closely with the Material & Demand Forecasting Team to resolve spare issues and provide codification support.
* Provide initial response to supply chain for technical queries related to provision and use of parts on aircraft.
* Collaborate with the ILS Technical Publications Team to ensure changes are properly reflected in the Air‑System Documentation Set.
* Support contingency planning and requirement definition for moving programmes smoothly into sustainment.
* Mentor Material & Demand Forecasting Team members on use of technical information.
* Perform other duties as directed by the LSA Lead Engineer.
Basic Qualifications
* Experience in Logistics Support Analysis using LSAR or Integrated Logistic Support tools.
* Practical aircraft maintenance experience, preferably with Chinook.
* Ability to obtain UK SC security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
* Ability to use the Air‑System Document Set.
* Understanding of support engineering in a military environment.
* Proficiency with aircraft drawings and support product documentation.
* Degree‑level education in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
* Experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders to identify optimisation opportunities.
* Experience liaising with OEM platform side of Boeing to integrate UK solutions with base platforms.
* Track record of first‑time quality delivery.
* Experience with international support standards such as Def Stan 00‑600, ASD/AIA Suite of S Series ILS specifications.
