COD Kitchens & Appliances, based in Broadheath, Altrincham, is a leading name in innovative home design, specialising in bespoke kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and media units. We're passionate about creating beautiful and functional spaces for our clients.
The Opportunity
We're seeking a talented and experienced CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. If you're proficient in Cyncly Winner and Virtual Worlds, and love bringing design concepts to life, we want to hear from you! You'll be a crucial part of our design process, working closely with our sales team to transform client visions into detailed, stunning plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Inputting and developing designs using Clyncy Winner and Virtual Worlds.
* Scaling designs accurately from various plan formats, including home surveys and architect's plans.
* Collaborating with Design Sales on project handovers and design briefings.
* Creating multiple design versions based on client discussions and feedback.
* Exporting costings, securing worktop quotes from fabricators, and preparing detailed plans, elevations, and 3D drawings ready for client presentations.
* Making necessary design revisions post-client meetings.
* Generating electrical, plumbing, and installation plans as required.
* (Occasionally, for cover) Meeting clients in the showroom for initial information discussions.
What We're Looking For
* Proficiency: Expert level in Clyncy Winner and Virtual Worlds is essential.
* Experience: A strong background in kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, or media unit design. Knowledge of MTM, Germanic Hacker, or bespoke products is highly valued.
* Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for accuracy and precision in all designs.
* Collaborative: Ability to work effectively with our sales team and other departments.
* Adaptable: Open to making changes and refining designs based on feedback.
* Customer-Focused (preferred for cover): Confidence in engaging with clients directly when needed. We'll provide full product training for the right candidate!
* This is primarily a Monday to Friday role.
* Occasional Saturday cover may be required, with a lieu day provided during the week.
* 28 days annual leave, with 3 days reserved for the Christmas period shutdown.
* Salary: Negotiable, dependent on experience.
