Job Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Consultant - Marketing Development Manager South Africa Zone, Europe Zone & South East Asia to provide expert advice and strategic guidance on the company's marketing, advertising, and promotional strategies within South Africa. This role involves developing tailored marketing recommendations, conducting in-depth market analysis, advising on media and digital channel strategies, and evaluating campaign performance to support business growth and enhance brand presence in the South African market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic recommendations for marketing and advertising initiatives tailored to the South African market, aligning with the company's objectives.
* Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to identify market opportunities and develop targeted promotional strategies.
* Conduct comprehensive market research and analyze consumer feedback to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.
* Advise on identifying target customer segments and optimizing advertising campaigns across relevant media and digital platforms in South Africa.
* Recommend approaches to build a consistent and impactful brand image while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
* Analyze sales data and marketing performance metrics to provide insights and suggest strategic adjustments.
* Stay abreast of South African industry trends, consumer behavior, and advertising regulations to inform consultancy advice.
* Prepare detailed performance reports and strategic proposals for senior leadership.
* Support alignment with the global marketing team to ensure brand consistency across South African initiatives.
* Provide guidance on leveraging digital and social media platforms to enhance marketing outcomes.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in a marketing, advertising, or consultancy role, with specific expertise in the South African market or similar emerging markets.
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable marketing strategies.
