Technical Area Sales Manager – Kidderminster Office and Field Based- £50,000 -55,000

The ideal candidate will be a Sales professional with a background in delivering Engineering Solution Sales to Engineering and Manufacturing clients across the UK.
This role would suit a Technical Sales Engineer, an Account Manager or Business Development Executive looking to sell solutions and take their career to the next stage.
Key Responsibilities:
* The Technical Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing existing business accounts as well as developing new business.
* An ability to hunt new business and undertake necessary research to ensure opportunities are generated, promoted and converted
* Visit customers on a regular basis across the UK to develop customer opportunities and build relationships for future business
* The Technical Area Sales Manager will need to demonstrate to customers the advantages and capabilities of the company solutions and services on offer to clients
* This is a hands on role working with other teams from taking the initial sales enquiry, initial measuring and quotations to working with the Projects team putting bids and tenders together.
Key Attributes:
* Proven background in selling Solutions and Services rather than products to Engineering & Manufacturing clients
* Any materials handling knowledge would be very beneficial
* A background working in a Heavy Industrial environment is very beneficial
* Strong communication skills to initiate customer contact and generate technical enquiries and follow through to execution.
