Job Overview
We’re the @one Alliance – a ground‑breaking collaboration between Anglian Water and seven industry‑leading partners: Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska and SWECO. Together, we deliver over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme.
Purpose
To bring environmental and social prosperity to the region through our commitment to Love Every Drop. As part of an ambitious investment programme, @one Alliance delivers transformative projects that ensure resilient water supplies, support sustainable growth and protect natural resources.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design, build and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring sustainability, affordability and efficiency.
* Manage profit and loss for a portfolio valued between £600‑£800 M for AMP8.
* Build and lead high‑performing, integrated delivery teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity and continuous improvement.
* Develop and strengthen relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including regulators (EA, Defra), local authorities, councils and delivery partners.
* Lead the adoption of PAS 2080 principles of ‘Avoid – Switch – Improve’ to reduce carbon and increase natural capital.
* Deliver innovative, value‑driven solutions through rigorous data analysis and root‑cause investigations.
* Establish and maintain a culture of care, safety and learning across all projects and teams.
Essential
* Extensive background in delivering large‑scale infrastructure projects, with director‑level experience and knowledge of utilities sector assets.
* Proven track record of building and inspiring high‑performing teams while fostering a collaborative culture.
* Ability to align long‑term plans with business objectives and lead transformational programmes.
* Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills, capable of engaging with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders.
* Deep understanding of industry standards, regulatory requirements and financial planning.
* Degree‑qualified with a history of successfully delivering high‑value capital projects.
