We believe in daring to dream and building communities where everyone belongs. Our vision is simple yet powerful:
Every person with a disability deserves a life of choice, freedom, and independence.
About The Role - Service Coordinator
As a Service Coordinator, you will play a vital leadership role in the delivery of supported living services. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of homes where disabled individuals—particularly children and young people—receive care and support. This includes managing staff, ensuring safe and nurturing environments, and fostering a culture of respect, empowerment, and inclusion.
Your work will involve close collaboration with families and whānau to understand the unique needs, aspirations, and challenges of each child. You'll coordinate personalised support plans that promote independence, emotional wellbeing, and social engagement. This may include facilitating access to education, therapies, recreational activities, and community participation. You'll also monitor health, behavioural, and developmental outcomes, working alongside health professionals, educators, and other specialists to ensure services are responsive, high-quality, and tailored to each individual.
This role requires a compassionate and proactive approach, with a strong commitment to safeguarding, advocacy, and continuous improvement. You'll be a key figure in helping children with disabilities thrive—not just in their homes, but in their wider communities.

* Experience in the health, disability, or social services sector
* Strong people management and leadership skills
* Clear communication skills, and ability to communicate compassionately with whānau
