Teaching Personnel Wales is currently seeking Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools in Bridgend, supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
We are working closely with two secondary schools that offer both:
* ALN support within mainstream classrooms, and
* Specialist provisions within the schools for pupils who require more targeted support.
The Role
* Support pupils with a range of additional learning needs in secondary school settings
* Work alongside teachers to help pupils access the curriculum
* Provide 1:1 and small group support, both in mainstream lessons and specialist provisions
* Help promote positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing

* Experience working with children or young people with ALN (school-based experience preferred)
* A calm, patient, and supportive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A passion for helping young people reach their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
