Housing Officer – Extra Care

Salary: £37,691 per annum (inclusive of car allowance).
Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Housing Officer to join our team and deliver an excellent, coordinated frontline service to our Extra Care residents at Bowmont House.
About the role
Deliver excellent, consistent and responsive housing management services which include:
1. Neighbourhood and tenancy management
2. Anti-social behaviour
3. Allocations and lettings
4. Empty property management, customer viewings and welcome visit
5. Income management
6. Customer involvement, empowerment and inclusion
7. Tenant liaison and support.
Oversee and coordinate the work of service providers on a day-to-day basis as required.
Deliver housing manager and environmental services to residents.
Lead, motivate and support staff within your team.
Identify opportunities for service improvements, make recommendations and deliver changes.
Deliver the role of Responsible Person within the Groups Safeguarding processes.

Your Experience
Desirable:
12. Good Standard of General Education, preferably with relevant professional qualification
13. Front line Housing Management experience, preferably in an Extra Care setting
14. Experience of partnership working, preferably in a multi service setting
15. Working knowledge of local authority commissioning and monitoring regimes
16. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
17. Advanced IT skills, particularly with Microsoft packages
