Your Role as a Room Leader
As a Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early years of our children. Your responsibilities will include:
* Creating engaging, age-appropriate learning environments and experiences.
* Supporting children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
* Helping staff maintain high-quality learning journals via EyLog.
* Leading by example with fairness and consistency.
* Strengthening the key person approach and identifying staff training needs.
* Keeping accurate records using EyMan and other systems.
* Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and visitors.
* Complying with EYFS statutory requirements.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will need:

Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification.
*
Essential: Over 1 year of experience working in Early Years.
*
Desirable: Over 6 months of experience in a senior position.
*
Desirable: Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating.
*
Essential: Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements.
*
Essential: Fluency in written and spoken English.
