Express Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a leading construction and civil engineering organisation who are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team based near Castle Donington.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in delivering a wide range of residential, commercial, educational and infrastructure projects. Working within a collaborative and supportive environment, you will be responsible for managing costs, maximising value, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Roles & Responsibilities
* Negotiate and appoint subcontractors across a range of projects
* Manage subcontractor packages from appointment through to final account
* Prepare and submit valuations and variations on schemes
* Build strong working relationships with Contracts Managers and site teams
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality and cost control
* Ensure compliance with company procedures and information management systems
* Support the delivery of projects in line with budget and commercial targets
Skills & Experience
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a construction-related discipline
* Experience in a similar Quantity Surveying role
* Knowledge of construction contracts such as JCT, NEC or similar
* Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
* Full UK driving licence
