Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Croydon, Greater London
Salary/Benefits: £26k - £36k + Training & Benefits
Our client is recruiting in the South East region for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer. They are seeking someone with a varied skillset who can turn their hand to any required PPM duties on site. You will be working across a variety of local authority, commercial and public sector sites, conducting duties in order to maintain the safety and functionality of water systems. Applicants will need to be able to hit the ground running and will have a successful track record within the industry. You will be travelling across: Croydon, Caterham, Bromley, Sidcup, Dartford, Erith, Gravesend, Sevenoaks, Oxted, Redhill, Epsom, Sutton, Mitcham, Snodland, Kingston upon Thames, Hounslow, Twickenham, Weybridge, Guildford, Woking, Southall, Hornchurch, Barking, Romford, Hornchurch, Grays, Tilbury, Basildon, Enfield, Harrow, Wembley.
Experience / Qualifications:
* Hands-on experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
* Good understanding of the ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
* It would be beneficial to hold plumbing experience / qualifications
* Hardworking attitude
* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
* Able to travel in line with the needs of the business
The Role:
* Undertaking a variety of pre-planned water hygiene duties to ensure water systems remain compliant
* Showerhead descales
* TMV servicing and failsafe checks
* CWST cleans and disinfections
* Calorifier inspections
* Replacing TMVs
* Deadleg removals
* Completing water sampling and temperature monitoring
* Producing regular service reports
