is looking to appoint a

Thrive Practitioner

to join their team after Easter for an

8-week placement. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils with their emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement in education. The successful candidate will work closely with students who require additional pastoral and emotional support, delivering targeted interventions and helping to create a safe and supportive environment where young people can thrive. The role will involve:

Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils Delivering

Thrive-based interventions Supporting students with emotional regulation, confidence, and social development Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families Working alongside the pastoral and SEN teams to meet individual student needs The ideal candidate will have:

Thrive Practitioner training - essential Experience working with secondary-aged pupils A strong understanding of emotional wellbeing and behaviour support Excellent communication and relationship-building skills A calm, patient, and nurturing approach This role would suit someone with experience in pastoral support, behaviour mentoring, youth work, or SEN support within a school setting. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR SPENCER CLARKE GROUP All applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained You must have legal right to work in the UK You must be willing to attend a registration interview All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
