Job Description
Carry out a wide range of road maintenance duties and related driving activities, including winter gritting and emergency work, supporting the wider work programmes and operations undertaken by Ayrshire Roads Alliance. The role aims to achieve the Joint Committee's key objectives, particularly in relation to the Council's Community Plans, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreements, and Best Value.

The Individual
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 37 hours per week. The post is based at Gauchalland Roads Depot, Galston, but requires work throughout East & South Ayrshire. Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8am - 4pm and Friday 8am - 3.30pm. The annual salary ranges from £28,533 to £29,880.
