The Role

Briggs and Forrester Living Limited solely focus on mechanical, electrical and public health services installations within large scale residential, student accommodation and hotel projects.

We wish to appoint an Estimating Department Assistant within our highly successful Pre-Contract team at Briggs and Forrester Living reporting to the Pre Construction Director and Estimating Managers. This is a permanent, office-based position.

Responsibilities:

1. Downloading and Collating Tender information from client platforms and information links
2. Organizing and checking documentation including producing drawing and document registers
3. Keeping tender documentation up to date following receipt of new and updated information and advising the Estimators of changes.
4. Production of tender submission documents
5. Assisting the Mechanical & Electrical Estimators with supply chain enquiries via electronic platforms
6. Issuing/updating tender documents via an electronic control system
7. Communication with sub-contractor and supplier companies through the tender process
8. Assistant Directors with administration duties
9. General office administration duties

15. Willing and able to work as part of a team with personal skills to promote good relationships and a friendly working environment
16. Working in an integrated M&E team
17. Computer literate for programmes such as Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
