Job Description
Gwel an Mor is part of the Cove UK family, a coastal resort based in the stunning village of Portreath, a beautiful little fishing port which sits just outside of Redruth in South Cornwall.

Key Responsibilities:
* Role model the company values and behaviours at all times: Hospitality, Passion, Trustworthiness, Excellence, Stewardship, Kindness
* Lead, motivate, and manage the grounds team to deliver consistent, high-quality grounds maintenance
* Plan, assign, and monitor daily and seasonal work schedules to ensure efficient use of resources
* Train, support, and develop team members, including health & safety practices and equipment use
* Conduct regular team meetings and communicate key information effectively
* Oversee maintenance of lawns, hedges, flower beds, trees, pathways, and outdoor communal areas
* Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of grounds equipment and machinery
* Assist the team with complex or specialised groundskeeping tasks as needed
* Manage seasonal projects such as planting schemes, landscaping, and winterisation
Experience/Skills Required:
* Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
* Practical knowledge of grounds care machinery and safe working practices
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Basic understanding of health and safety legislation
