About the Club
Eltham Warren Golf Club is a private members club located in South-East London. We are a thriving nine-hole club with over 550 members, offering a range of memberships from full seven-day to social membership. Our friendly and welcoming environment is at the heart of our success, and we take pride in providing excellent service both on and off the course.
Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and motivated House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of our bar, catering service, and clubhouse facilities. The successful candidate will ensure a smooth, high quality experience for our members and guests, while leading and developing the clubhouse team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the House Manager will take responsibility for:
Managing bar and catering operations to deliver outstanding service.
Overseeing staff recruitment, training, and development.
Working with the catering supervisor to update menus and maintain high food standards.
Ensuring the clubhouse and surrounding areas are maintained to an excellent standard.
Managing budgets, including labour and food costs, and ensuring cost control.
About You
Collaborating with the Captains Committee to plan and deliver the clubs social calendar. We are looking for someone proactive, organised, and passionate about hospitality. The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in hospitality or management role (golf club experience is an advantage but not essential).
Knowledge of staff management, purchasing, and cost control.
Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
The flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
A hands-on approach, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering exceptional member service.
