We are partnering with a world-class innovation and research center embarking on an exciting growth journey.
The Procurement Category Manager for Facilities Services is a newly created position within a greenfield procurement team, supporting the Head of Procurement in delivering top procurement activities and developing category strategies and processes across the group.
You will own the FM category and supplier management for Hard and Soft services, Laboratory Equipment, and Services. Experience in building category strategies from scratch and implementing them across organizations is essential. You will manage a varied and growing estate.
This role is ideal for someone with an ambitious mindset, who can work in an agile environment and is excited by the prospect of a greenfield team and supporting growth and development.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
* 8+ years’ procurement experience, especially in Facilities Management sourcing.
* Experience managing procurement for laboratory equipment and related services within an FM context.
* Proven track record in leading complex procurement projects and delivering measurable value.
* Familiarity with regulated industries (e.g., Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Research) is advantageous.
* Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Facilities Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
* MCIPS qualification or working towards it is highly desirable.
