Our Head of Finance will be responsible for leading all our financial operations from our Worcester Office. Are you looking for your next Head of Finance role? With exceptional attention to detail, you, as our Head of Finance, will have a fundamental role in devising company financial strategy, forecasting and team management at Compco Fire Systems. Together, we can redefine what’s possible for the future of the Fire Protection Industry. What You’ll Be Doing: Develop and implement financial strategies for the company. Provide leadership to the finance department team. Prepare and present financial reports and risk analysis. Monitor financial performance by measuring and analysing results. Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls. Engage with senior management to develop short, medium, and long-term financial plans and projections. Manage budgeting and forecasting process. Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed. Review, understand and document product costing process end to end and drive improvements / alternative approaches. Ensure monthly closing processes are accomplished with accuracy and completed in accordance with reporting timelines. Perform accounting activities in compliance with financial, regulatory, and internal accounting policies and guidelines. What You’ll Need: Proven experience in a senior finance position, ideally within the Construction industry or similar. Formal Accounting Qualification is required (CIMA ACCA). BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field; MSc/MA or MBA is a plus. Strong understanding of financial law and financial risk management. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods. Ability to strategize and solve problems. Strong business acumen. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Sage. Driving License. This is an office-based role and would require the successful Head of Finance to attend Monday-Friday at Cleeve House, Malvern Road, Worcester, WR2 4YX.
