Job Duties:
* Lead and manage the Art department
* Develop and implement curriculum plans in line with educational guidelines
* Provide guidance and support to art teachers
* Oversee the planning and execution of art projects and exhibitions
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback
* Coordinate departmental meetings and training sessions
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Art or related field
Experience:
Prior experience as a Head of Department in an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Excellent people management abilities
* Thorough understanding of curriculum development
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate degree in Education or related field
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in an educational environment, collaborating with students, teachers, and other staff members. The position may require occasional evening or weekend work to attend events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
