About the role The role of a lifeguard is to supervise the aquatic space while proactively ensuring a safe environment in and around the pool area whilst being able to anticipate and respond swiftly to issues which may arise. Lifeguards are required to ensure facility rules are being obeyed, educate facility users about safe practices and provide excellent customer service to all. We currently have the following positions available to join our Venue Operations Team. Permanent Part Time Positions - various hours - immediate start. Temporary Full Time Positions - 38 hours per week - summer seasonal contracts from October 2025-April 2026 with training shifts commencing in September. Temporary Part Time Positions - various hours - summer seasonal contracts from October 2025-April 2026 with training shifts commencing in September. Casual Positions - various hours. Lifeguard shifts are across a variety of hours ranging from 5am-10pm, including weekend work.
