Salary: Competitive (£40,000–£50,000, depending on experience)

We are now seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to take ownership of our Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) systems and ensure compliance across all areas of our business.
Key Responsibilities
As SHEQ Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing our Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and UKAS Your responsibilities will include:
· Managing and reporting on the performance of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
· Leading and supporting internal and external audits.
· Monitoring SHEQ performance and ensuring compliance with legislation and standards.
· Maintaining training and competency records in conjunction with the Technical and Operations teams.
· Managing equipment calibration, PAT testing, and supplier approvals.
· Preparing and updating SHEQ documentation, procedures, and registers (including COSHH).
· Delivering inductions, training, and awareness sessions to staff.
· Incident and near-miss reporting, including authority to halt unsafe work on site.
· Occasional travel required around the UK for site audits and incident reporting
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in SHEQ management, ideally within an inspection, engineering, or industrial environment. The successful candidate will have:
Qualifications / Training (preferred):
· NEBOSH / IOSH certification
· Internal or Lead Auditor qualification
· Accident/Incident Root Cause Analysis training
· Risk & COSHH Assessment competency
· Working knowledge of ISO 17020 within an Inspection Body (highly desirable)
Personal Attributes:
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
· Competence in delivering training and coaching to staff
· High level of computer literacy and organisational skills
· A proactive, detail-focused approach with the confidence to take decisive action where needed
