We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team at The Stag. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your enthusiasm for hospitality and your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere will ensure that our guests have an enjoyable experience every time they visit.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks with precision and care.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, including the kitchen area, equipment, and dining spaces.
* Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
* Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items.
* Handle cash transactions efficiently using basic math skills for accurate till management.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods while managing time effectively.
* Stay knowledgeable about menu offerings and seasonal specials to enhance the guest experience.
* Take Bookings and Enquiries for Cafe, Restaurant and Meeting room.
Experience
* Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is advantageous.
* Background in culinary or kitchen environments will be beneficial.
* Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to provide outstanding guest services.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 35 per week

* Barista: 1 year (preferred)
