The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimising CNC programs to support efficient, high-quality production across a range of materials and components.Roles & Responsibilities Create and edit CNC programs using Alphacam for milling, routing, or machining operationsInterpret technical drawings, CAD files, and specificationsSelect appropriate tooling, cutting strategies, and machining parametersOptimise programs to improve cycle times, quality, and material usageSupport CNC machine setup and prove-out of new programsTroubleshoot machining and programming issues on the shop floorWork closely with machinists, production, and engineering teamsEnsure all work meets quality, safety, and compliance standardsMaintain accurate program documentation and revision control Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as a CNC ProgrammerStrong hands-on experience with Alphacam (essential)Good understanding of CNC milling / routing processesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsKnowledge of tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining strategiesExperience working with materials such as wood, composites, plastics, or metals (depending on environment)Strong problem-solving and attention to detail Click apply now for more informationTPBN1_UKTJ
