212 Recruitment is currently supporting a well established engineering company in their search for an experienced CNC Lathe Setter/Operator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit team producing high quality components in small batch quantities.
The successful CNC Turner will:

Set and operate CNC lathes with precision and efficiency
*
Program using conversational controls (Fanuc Guide i and Haas)
*
Manufacture small batch quantities (typically 1–20 off)
*
Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
*
Work in line with ISO quality standards
*
Use and interpret precision measuring and inspection equipment
*
Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
*
Assist with light assembly tasks when required
*
Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines
*
Utilise Fusion 360 for programming and design tasks
Requirements:
*
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in CNC turning
*
Proven ability as a CNC lathe setter/operator
*
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
*
Good work ethic and a positive, proactive attitude
*
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team
Working hours:
* Monday to Friday 8am-4pm + overtime
