Corporate Tax Senior Manager - Derby

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and developing the corporate tax affairs of the firm's clients, ensuring compliance and optimising their tax positions. You will be directly involved in a variety of complex tax projects, from planning and advisory to dispute resolution, working closely with senior leadership to drive the strategic tax agenda. Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the corporate tax team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Provide expert tax advice and planning services to a diverse client portfolio, maximising tax efficiency and supporting business objectives.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the firm's growth.
* Oversee the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and computations.
* Liaise with HMRC and handle tax enquiries and investigations.
* Contribute to internal training and development initiatives, mentoring junior staff and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements:
* ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified, with a strong academic background.
* Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
* Demonstrable experience in corporate tax planning and advisory services.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong client and team relationships.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team.
* A proactive and problem-solving approach to challenges.
