Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analysing project specifications, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget.
Duties
* Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work required.
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and overhead costs associated with projects.
* Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
* Maintain comprehensive records of all estimates, including calculations and assumptions made during the estimating process.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. We invite qualified candidates who are passionate about delivering high-quality estimations to apply for this exciting opportunity.
* Basic CAD knowledge would be advantageous.
Compensation & Work Arrangement
* Starting salary will remain fixed during the 6-month probation period, with a guaranteed raise upon successful completion.
* For the first few weeks, daily office presence may be required to support onboarding and training. After that, we aim to reduce office attendance to one day per week, with four days remote, if suitable for the candidate. Full-time office work is also welcome if preferred.
