We are currently recruiting for an Account Director to manage key UK clients, reporting directly to the European Client Director. The role is accountable for the success of strategic client relationships, with a clear focus on long‑term retention and growth.
Contract type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive salary + performance related bonus
Hours of work: full-time,Monday to Friday
Place of work: remote, with occasional travel to Brighton as required.
About the Role
This position goes beyond day‑to‑day account management. The Account Director acts as a trusted advisor and commercial partner to clients, while internally championing client priorities across the organisation. Working closely with UK‑based clinical, marketing, operations, service and product teams, the role supports the delivery of innovative, clinically integrated healthcare solutions.
The Account Director is responsible for developing and executing robust account plans that drive revenue, delivery excellence and customer engagement, aligned to both Teladoc Health’s strategic objectives and those of our partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Growth
* Achieve established revenue objectives, including organic growth and cross‑sell targets.
* Define and execute a multi‑year growth roadmap aligned with Teladoc Health’s capabilities and innovation strategy.
* Lead cross‑functional go‑to‑market planning for new products.
* Collaborate on pricing and value‑proposition strategies that resonate with the client.
Client Retention and Expansion
* Build and sustain strong client relationships to support retention, expansion, and long‑term partnership growth.
* Be accountable for the day‑to‑day management and delivery of client requirements.
* Proactively understand client priorities and evolving needs through regular engagement and market awareness.
* Monitor account performance against agreed objectives, SLAs, and commercial targets.
* Lead regular strategic review meetings, presenting insights on outcomes, performance, risks, and future opportunities.
* Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and account documentation.
* Take a consultative, solution‑oriented approach, positioning Teladoc Health as a trusted innovation and thought partner.
* Engage regularly with clients through operational contacts, executive‑level meetings, workshops, and working sessions.
* Own the customer success and experience strategy, ensuring measurable outcomes that support renewal and upsell opportunities.
* Evaluate, strengthen, and expand strategic relationships within the client organisation.
* Perform other relevant duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in private healthcare or other regulated industries such as insurance or wider financial services.
* Proven track record of relationship‑led growth and business development with strategic clients or partners.
* Experience in a senior account management or Account Director role managing complex accounts.
* Strong commercial acumen, including retention, renewal, and account expansion.
* Proven stakeholder management capabilities
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, value‑based discussions.
* Strong executive‑level communication and presentation skills.
* Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams to deliver client outcomes.
