Care Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to individuals, enabling them to live comfortably and independently.
As a Care Assistant, you will assist with daily tasks, promote well-being, and ensure the dignity and respect of those in your care.
Key Responsibilities
1. Personal Care
o Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
o Support mobility and physical needs, including help with transferring and positioning.
2. Daily Living Support
o Help with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration.
o Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry.
o Accompany clients to appointments or social activities as needed.
3. Emotional and Social Support
o Provide companionship and emotional reassurance.
o Encourage participation in activities to enhance mental and emotional well-being.
4. Monitoring and Reporting
o Observe and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
o Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided.
5. Compliance and Safety
o Follow care plans and ensure all activities align with health and safety regulations.
o Adhere to confidentiality and safeguarding policies.
Qualifications and Skills
* Prior experience in a care role is preferred.
* Training will be provided.
* A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Basic understanding of health and safety protocols.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
* A valid First Aid/CPR Certification, or willingness to obtain one.
* Proof of the right to work in this country.
