Credit Controller Location: Bellshill (Fully Office Based) Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Anderson Knight is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-known and highly respected client based in Bellshill to recruit a Credit Controller. What You’ll Be Doing: As a key member of the finance team, your primary focus will be managing credit control processes to ensure timely payments and strong customer relationships. Your responsibilities will include: * Contacting customers regarding outstanding payments * Reviewing and maintaining credit limits for existing accounts * Completing and processing new customer credit account applications * Reviewing the aged debtor list and taking action on overdue accounts * Liaising with overseas customer service teams on payment queries * Producing and issuing monthly customer statements * Updating and maintaining credit hold lists * Setting up new customer accounts and allocating credit limits * Updating sales ledger accounts with accurate information * Investigating and resolving invoice disputes promptly * Posting cashbook transactions * Depositing cheques weekly and encouraging payment via BACS * Supporting wider administrative tasks including: * Answering incoming telephone calls and redirecting as needed * Distributing incoming and outgoing mail * Welcoming and assisting visitors to the office About You: We’re looking for a detail-oriented and confident Credit Controller with strong communication and organisational skills.
