English Teacher
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: £120 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
GSL Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to work within supportive secondary schools across Newcastle upon Tyne. The Role:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
* Support students of varying abilities in reading, writing, and literacy development.
* Assess, monitor, and track student progress in line with school policies.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
* Work collaboratively with the English department and wider school teams.

The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
* Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
* An engaging, professional, and proactive teaching approach.
* A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
