Maths Tutor (SEND/SEMH Focus)
We are looking for a Maths Tutor with the skills and experience to support pupils in alternative education settings. This role requires a tutor who can adapt lessons to meet the individual needs of learners with SEMH and behavioural difficulties such as ADHD and autism spectrum conditions.
Essential Requirements:
* QTS or equivalent, with strong knowledge of the UK Maths curriculum
* Previous experience teaching/tutoring in alternative provisions
* Proven ability to work effectively with pupils with SEND/SEMH needs
* Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce Only) on the Update Service (essential)
* A flexible, empathetic, and resilient teaching approach
Pay & Hours: £25 – £35 per hour (depending on experience)
Part-time hours, dependent on referral
Start Date: September/October

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
