Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder Fabricator to join our Fabrication Department. This role is essential to delivering high-quality fabrication services across both new and existing plant and equipment. You will work within a dedicated team to support the manufacture, assembly, installation, and inspection of a wide variety of steel and pipework systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced fabricator looking to further develop their skills within a fast-paced, service-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Fabrication and welding of mild steel, stainless steel, structural steel skids, pressure vessels, and pipework systems. Acid cleaning, grinding, and cutting of materials. Mechanical assembly and pressure testing of equipment. Installation of plant and equipment on customer sites. Inspection of equipment upon receipt or at manufacturers' facilities. Loading and offloading vehicles, packing, and despatch of equipment. Adhere to health & safety and company quality standards at all times. Undertake any other reasonable tasks as required by the business. When on-site, assume leadership of the site team as needed. Support development of apprentices or junior staff if at senior level. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Minimum Level 3 BTEC/NVQ (or equivalent) in Welding/Fabrication or Engineering. 5 years of fabrication/shop floor experience within the welding/fabrication industry. Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings. Excellent communication and time management skills. Strong team player with a self-motivated and proactive approach. Customer- and service-oriented with good commercial awareness. Capable of managing work within budgetary constraints and using data to drive performance.
