Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders, both verbally and in writing. Update reports including, but not limited to order bank, ready for Sales Office Manager review with MD. Participate in the Verder University (online) and Health and Safety training courses. Ensure Apprentice programme is up to date and report findings to Sales Office Manager. Collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders to achieve team KPI’s as determined by MD. Adhere to company policies and procedures including health, safety, and security protocols. Day to Day, you will be responsible for: Managing customer complaints; handling and responding to emails, logging, and referring to team members as required. Taking details of technical queries via email and phone. Sending Proof of Delivery to Customers. Chasing quotes (under £10k). Updating the ‘Goods Backlog’ and ‘Quality Log’ systems, generating daily reports. Managing Returns – assessing whether under warranty or not, and therefore allocating delivery costs as appropriate. The training you will be getting You will be working towards your Level 3 Business Administrator qualification (an industry recognised Qualification) which is delivered via monthly 2–3-hour lessons with your assigned Trainer Assessor (TA) via teams. Throughout the month, you will complete self-led study which will include assignments, worksheets, projects, etc. and blended learning and development activities/training with your manager and shadowing team members. All learning will be completed in your workplace and during your working hours. As an Apprentice, you will be employed, just like anyone else at the company, the difference is that you will be studying towards a qualification. You’ll spend a minimum of 6 hours a week (of your total working hours) in a number of different Training, Learning & Development Activities that all develop your Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours in line with your Apprenticeship Qualification. These will include (for example) staff meetings, online courses, shadowing other team members, as well as a monthly online (via MS Teams) study workshop, basically a lesson, with your Tutor, lasting between 2 and 3 hours, during which you will be taught a particular subject / topic / module. Any work that you are set within this session is then expected to be complete for the next month’s session. You will be given time each week to do this within your working day/week - so no homework This will all prepare you for your End Point Assessment (EPA) once you have completed all the learning required.
