What you’ll do:
* Engineer, maintain and improve secure VMware infrastructure across vSphere, ESXi, NSX and vSAN.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within tightly controlled environments.
* Support platform stability, performance and ongoing capability uplift.
* Work collaboratively with delivery, architecture and programme teams to ensure reliable and secure operation.
* Operate in a hybrid model requiring three days per week in Farnborough plus occasional travel to Bristol.
What you’ll bring:
Must‑have qualifications and experience:
* Active DV clearance (essential; without this you cannot perform the role).
* Demonstrable experience as a VMware infrastructure/platform engineer.
* Hands‑on capability in vSphere, ESXi, NSX and vSAN.
* Strong troubleshooting ability within secure or highly regulated environments.
* Comfort working in fast‑moving, complex and occasionally ambiguous delivery settings.
