Overview
Service Advisor role at Charles Hurst Group Ltd (Belfast Dundonald Hyundai) onsite with the Aftersales Team. Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time. Salary: OTE up to £32,000 including bonus up to £6,000. Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am–5.30pm, Friday 8am–5pm, Saturday 9am–1pm on rota basis.
Responsibilities
* Booking MOTs, services, and other repair work for customers while prioritising their needs to ensure a seamless experience.
* Advising customers about warranty cover and upselling additional parts/accessories that benefit the customer and enhance their vehicle experience.
* Liaising with the full Aftersales department to organise and schedule appointments, ensuring efficient workload management and high-quality service delivery.
* Managing a high volume of customer interactions daily, including telephone calls and online booking queries, ensuring each customer feels valued and informed.
* Informing customers of turnaround times and providing updates throughout the time a vehicle is in the workshop, addressing any concerns.
* Maintaining accurate customer records and updating systems when bookings are made, ensuring smooth follow-up and ongoing engagement.
About the role: As a Service Advisor you should be energetic, with a warm personality and a passion for delivering a first-class customer experience. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly are essential. Prior experience with Kerridge/ADP is advantageous, as is knowledge of other dealer systems. You should be a strong team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
