Overview
Our client is a leading distributor. With a strong emphasis on creativity and innovation, we are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team and contribute to various marketing and design initiatives across the group.
This role presents a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your design skills will be used across multiple platforms, from brochure design and social media content to photography and videography projects.
Job Purpose
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality visual content to support marketing efforts across the Group. They will work closely with the Marketing Manager and Group Director, ensuring that all design materials align with brand guidelines and company objectives.
This role requires a creative flair and a good eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design & Branding:
· Design brochures, catalogues, and marketing materials for print and digital use.
· Develop branding concepts for new products and campaigns.
· Ensure brand consistency across all designs.
Digital & Social Media Content:
· Create engaging social media graphics, banners, and online advertisements.
· Design email marketing visuals and website graphics.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visually compelling campaigns.
Photography & Videography:
· Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality photography and video content for marketing purposes.
· Capture product images for promotional use.
· Create video content for social media, website, and presentations.
CGI & Interior Design (Desirable but not essential):
· Work with chosen software to create realistic product visuals for marketing use.
· Develop mood boards and interior design concepts for promotional materials.
Skills & Experience Required
· 3-5 years’ experience in graphic design
· Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
· Experience with photography and videography, including editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro).
· Strong understanding of branding and marketing principles.
· Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
· Creative mindset with attention to detail.
· Interest in interior design and current trends in the industry.
· CGI/ Roomsets experience is desirable but not essential.
Person Specification
Qualifications and Experience in Graphic Design
Creative flair and a passion for design
Highly organised and able to plan workload to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills in terms of appropriateness and accuracy, in verbal and written format
Sound IT skills (including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Advanced Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign skills
Adobe Premiere Pro, XD and Dreamweaver experience
Strong attention to detail and excellent proof-reading skills
Able to deal confidently with people across all levels both within the business and externally
Willing and able to work flexibly depending on the requirements of the Marketing Department
Experience
Experience of graphic design for a retailer
Experience of designing for digital marketing purposes, including email campaigns and ecommerce
At least 12 months experience of working as a Graphic Designer, either in-house or for an agency
Other Requirements
Proactive, professional and enthusiastic approach to work to promote the Company and achieve set objectives and goals
Pro-active, self-motivated and committed
Interest in interior design
Full UK driving licence
Willing and able to travel in the UK
