They are seeking a senior procurement leader to drive innovation and ensure sustainable, value-driven sourcing of essential goods and services that impact lives every day. They are looking for someone who can effectively manage a portfolio of complex and high profile procurement projects and contracts. The successful candidate will lead commercial reviews, negotiate, and draft contracts for cost optimisation and deliver savings targets to support the performance improvement programme. This role will require a combination of skill and experience to work at a senior level within the organisation and with their external clients / stakeholders across multiple disciplines to find solutions to complex business issues. Your leadership will extend to managing a team of Procurement colleagues, ensuring they have the guidance and support to excel. You will also work closely with their other teams and Stakeholders. You will be accountable and responsible for the management of the business information and data systems & infrastructure relating to Procurement, Supply Chain and Management Information & Reporting, ensuring that all designated systems are available and performing to the agreed standard. Candidate Profile: Educated to degree level (or equivalent) MCIPS qualification (or equivalent experience) Successful track record of delivering cost reductions and service improvement Expertise in Category and Contract management of large and complex projects Expertise in Public Procurement Regulations, Procurement Act 2023 and Provider Selection Regime Excellent Stakeholder management Proactive, organised and enthusiastic The interview process will be two stages, the final stage will be held on site at their Head Office and will include one of their key stakeholders.
